PyCon talks were just announced and I’m already puzzling over how I’ll miss Carl Meyer’s talk on Django testing because I have to see Armin Ronacher on code generation. Well, at least that’s what I anticipate will happen, because invariably PyCon forces me to choose between talks, both of which I have to see. And in more awesomeness, this year it’s in Santa Clara, more or less local to me.
One can’t-miss is Gary Bernhardt on his quest for what really defines test. Once Gary starts, it’s hard to get him to stop, and that’s all for the good of humanity. Seriously, on test and design, for my dollar he’s up there with Nat Pryce and J.B. Rainsberger.
